Also look at the bottom up lift....OMG, If he started at a standing position? he might be able to load up and do 1.5 times that. I do 700 from the top and struggle with 405 from the bottom.

Ok, I don't know the official rules. If his feet are too far apart & he wasn't far enough down, or up, fine. but he wasn't all suited-up like those guys are, it -was- a? -lot-of weight, & starting from bottom position is -harder-,(the negative in an down-and-up squat stores energy that helps the lift).
