It's not? illegal to run OSX on a Hackintosh setup. It merely violates the company's End User License Agreement (EULA), which basically means that Apple customer service won't help you if anything goes wrong with your Hackintosh. Not that it matters, as Apple customer service is notoriously awful to begin with. I'll stick with superior hardware on a custom PC, pop in a third (or fourth) HDD, and install a Hackintosh OSX on it. And still pay less money than I would with a normal Mac.

Guys. If you are choosing wether too buy Mac or PC for gaming, choose PC. I chose mac because it can't get viruses (I'VE DOWNLOADED TONS OF TORRENTS THAT SAYS VIRUS, BUT AINT GOT NOTHING) and because I love? the layout even more. If a Mac crashes, don't worry, you got your stuff saved. And I wanted to work with images to photoshop. But you know what? I have started gaming lately, and I wish I bought a PC, but lolz, I'll have to get used to it. If you do not play games, I suggest a Mac.

Windows is great for games, Mac is great for everything else.? Oh and a Mac can run both OS's (in a legal way), so people who think a Mac is useless have quite some issues.

If you went back to my first comment you would have seen this all started with me saying that Macs had a good resale compared to pc especially the macbook pros. although they do have a high price tag to begin with but they do hold there value over the years. I myself would never spend 2 grand on one but have bought some used ones. same goes for the Alienware. plus I buy and sell Laptops as a side job and as? far as being computer savvy goes its a matter of opinion I guess. we all have one..

haha A real computer thats a joke right? Guess you havent used the 2012 mackbook pro huh? Runs circles around any PC based laptop under 3 grand I own both a Alienware area 51 and the new macbook pro . the macbook pro runs any app or program in either lion osx or windows 7 that my area 51 can including high fps games without? breaking a sweat...

ive solved jigsaw puzzles that were more difficult then building a computer. more people go the pc route over mac because of the price to hardware ratio, and the opperating system is less limited. macs are great if? you dont really have much of a use for a real computer

Ive never seen a PC that has Amazed me!! Nor have I said that a mac is Amazing either All I stated was a mac has a better resale.. Don't believe me? go google it.. I know this because I buy and resale both Mac and PC computers and if I want to make a profit on a PC it needs to be at least a 2010 or newer but i make a great profit off any macbook pro I get as far back as a macbook 3.1 to the? new ones. and while you write another post i will sell another mac :)

ur theory is even dumber then ur previous statement. if a car is made by 30 different vendors which have perfected that particular field in making that part and then they put it together its going to be an amazing machine. the Asians are known for dedicating their life to the 1 thing they want to follow therefore? perfecting themselves at their chosen career. WHY don't you Google the manufacturer of apples products and find out at least 40% is either made by Samsung or a Samsung sub company.

Im stupid? the fact that PC isn't a single company is the reason why many people are buying a Mac. would you rather have a car that was built by one company or one built with 1200 different parts from 30 other venders? sure that car might be a lot cheaper but did you really come out buying it? only an idiot will buy ur 2007 mac. pcs are NOT WORTH less. ur missing the fact that pc isint just a single company therefore they will always have the most non-competitive prices because they even compete with EACHOTHER. the reason apple will never do this? is ONLY to take advantage of the market and NOTHING MORE. if you have fallen for their bs propaganda then go deal with it instead of trying to justify ur own stupidity to strangers. theres no point to miss. just stupidity and useless facts..

LOL you miss the whole point. i was not putting down PC only saying they have no resale value 0 zip nada ..? point was i can sell my used well used 2007 macbook pro for A $1000 bucks today!! I couldn't give my 2007 dell away I paid $2500 for my area 51 laptop and its worth less than the macbook pro today... as far as ASUS goes I think they are great PCs

Your post was meant to be a put down towards? PC, but you actually showed how good they are. - You never see a 07 PC sold for $1,000 on eBay. I can by 3/4th of top of the line PC for a tiny bit over a grand at newegg (Hah.. Ebay..), why bother with 2007s. - Virus, adware. Your problem, you put them there all by yourself. - "Ugly" is a personal preference, personally I like my ASUS PC laptops, and my desktop PC that is glowing blue and looks mean. - Mac needs to run Windows to play games.
